gosh they're only that little for just a short amount of time. Capture those moments so you have them forever.
When Do I Schedule?
Traditional Newborn portraits should happen between 7 and 21 days old. (assuming that baby arrived close to or full term - if baby was early, we have a bit more wiggle room!
After that period, the photos will be photographed from more of a relaxed, journalistic approach and you can jump over to the portrait section of my website for info, packages, and pricing for those.
The easiest way to schedule is to contact me either when you're in the hospital or within the first few days of being home from the hospital as you settle in to new life with your newborn.
All traditional newborn sessions now take place in my in home studio located in East Erie.
The space is simple, neutral, and I have SO many options and accommodations for your newborn session here.
**All newborn sessions include macro (close up) detail shots of fingers, toes, lips, etc)
**Baby Plus or Baby Full Packages include backlit shots with family/parent/sibling as well.
My props and client closet are only available for sessions in my studio only. You can literally just bring baby and I can provide the rest for your session!
Packages and Pricing
Package 1: Just Baby - $350
- Session will take place at my studio with 2 looks
- either 2 wrapped OR 1 outfit (or naked) shots, and 1 wrapped look
- macro/detail shots
- access to my newborn client closet is always included and the session will last around 60 minutes.
Expect at least 45 images
Add an additional outfit/look(s) for $50 each (adding an additional outfit typically will increase the time of your session)
Package 2: Baby Plus - $400
- Session will take place at my studio with 2-3 looks
-a combo of any 2-3 looks: wrapped, outfit, and/or naked
*at least one look must be wrapped*
-macro/detail shots
- access to my newborn client closet is always included and the session will last around 75-90 minutes.
shots will include baby solo with:
- parents separate with baby and full family (family of 3)
OR
full family with sibling(s)
Expect at least 75 images
Add an additional outfit/look for $50 each (adding an additional outfit typically will increase the time of your session)
Package 3: Baby Full - $450
- Session will take place at my studio with 2-3 looks
-a combo of any 2-3 looks: wrapped, outfit, and/or naked
*at least one look must be wrapped*
-macro/detail shots
- access to my newborn client closet is always included and the session will last around 90 minutes to two hours.
shots will include baby solo with:
parents separate with baby and full family (family of 3),
full family with sibling(s), baby with siblings, (an option to have siblings separate with baby if time allows.
Session will last around 90 minutes to 2 hours. Expect at least 100 images
Add an additional outfit/look for $50 each (adding an additional outfit typically will increase the time of your session)
Outfits
90% of the photos you see here are part of my Newborn client closet that you are more than welcome to use.
Wraps, outfits, headbands, hats, and props!
"Newborn Clothes" normally don't fit the baby well or are itchy, causing them discomfort. While I'm not against you bringing an outfit(s) for baby, my Newborn collection of outfits are tailored to their tiny size.
To browse my Newborn outfit client collection, I will send you photographs of the items via email or Facebook message. I will need your choices about 48 hours prior to your session date and time so I can have the items ready to go in my studio!
Extra Info
Session payment is due in full the day of your session. I accept all forms of payment (cash, check, credit card, venmo & paypal)
**sessions booked on a weekend during my busy season (may through december) will require a $100 retainer to book. The remaining balance will be due the day of your session. Retainers are non refundable but transferrable to another portrait session within one year or original booked date.
I will check in about 24 hours prior to your session as a reminder, check in for your outfit and prop choices, and to give you the address to my studio.
Expect preview photos (just a small handful of some of my favorite images - like 5-10!) within 3 days of our session. The rest of your images will be ready within 2 weeks of your session. I will send your gallery with print release to download your high resolution images to your phone/computer. Gallery will remain active for one year.

I want to love on your pup just as much as you do!
The dog must be under 10-12 weeks for this session and I prefer to shoot these during the week versus a weekend.
