Newborn Photography
gosh they're only that little for just a short amount of time. Capture those moments so you have them forever.
When Do I Schedule?
Traditional Newborn portraits should happen between 4 and 14 days old. After that period, the photos will be photographed from more of a relaxed, journalistic approach and you can jump over to the portrait section of my website for info, packages, and pricing for those.
The easiest way to schedule is to contact me either when you're in the hospital or within the first few days of being home from the hospital.
All newborn sessions where baby is within 2 weeks old now take place in my in home studio located in Lawrence Park.
The space is simple, neutral, and has both the option for natural light and studio light, but studio light (which you see in all of these images) are studio lit.
If you would like your newborn session to take place at your home, an additional $100 fee will be required for any package. I provide a LOT of items (blankets, posing pillow, wraps, outfits, etc.) that take additional time and effort to transport and set up.
Packages and Pricing
I have a few different options to provide Newborn Photography for any of my client's needs!
Package 1: Just Baby - $275
Session will take place at my studio with 1-2 outfits (and access to my newborn client closet!) and will last around 45 minutes.
Expect at least 30 images
Add an additional outfit(s) for $50 per outfit
Package 2: Baby with parent(s) OR sibling(s) - $300
Session will take place at my studio with 2 outfits (and access to my newborn client closet!) This session will include baby solo and photos with either each parent together and separate OR photos with sibling(s) . Session will last around 1 hour. Expect at least 50 images
Add an additional outfit(s) for $50 per outfit
Package 3: Baby and Full Family - $350
Session will take place at my studio with 3 outfits (and access to my newborn client closet!) This session will include baby solo and photos with each parent together and separate, photos with sibling(s), and full family photos . Session will last around 90 minutes. Expect at least 75 images
Add an additional outfit(s) for $50 per outfit
Adding an additional outfit will increase the time of your session
Outfits
90% of the photos you see here are part of my Newborn client closet that you are more than welcome to use.
Wraps, outfits, headbands, hats, and props!
You could literally just bring Baby and I could supply the rest for your session.
"Newborn Clothes" normally don't fit the baby well or are itchy, causing them discomfort. While I'm not against you bringing an outfit(s) for baby, my Newborn collection of outfits are tailored to their tiny size.
To browse my Newborn outfit client collection, I will send you photographs of the items via email or Facebook message. I will need your choices about 48 hours prior to your session date and time so I can have the items ready to go in my studio!
Extra Info
Session payment is due in full the day of your session. I accept all forms of payment (cash, check, credit card, venmo & paypal)
**sessions booked on a weekend during my busy season (may through december) will require a 50% deposit to book. The remaining balance will be due the day of your session. Deposits are non refundable but transferrable to another portrait session!
I will check in about 24 hours prior to your session as a reminder, check in for your outfit and prop choices, and to give you the address to my studio.
Expect preview photos (just a small handful of some of my favorite images - like 5-10!) within 3 days of our session. The rest of your images will be ready within 2 weeks of your session. I will send your gallery with print release to download your high resolution images to your phone/computer. Gallery will remain active for one year.

I want to love on your pup just as much as you do!
The dog must be under 10-12 weeks for this session and I prefer to shoot these during the week versus a weekend.
